Conveyor Belts Edge Guiding Systems
AUDUBON can provide control guiding for applications where product location is required. The edge guide systems are mechanical and need no electrical or any other source of power. Each system is designed for your application. Once installed, the Edge Control Guiding Sytem requires no special maintenance.
The AUDUBON Edge Guiding System consists of (2) sets of edge guide rolls, each having (4) vertical rolls. (2 sets are required on one conveyor line). One set is located approximately three belt widths back from the discharge roll on the return side from the infeed roll. This will provide location of the conveyor belt on the infeed and discharge end, whre product location is of most importance.
AUDUBON Edge Guiding Systems utilize carbon bearings in all the vertical rolls (which requires no lubrication). Rolls privot in pairs of two and in a set of four when installed on both sides the the wire mesh conveyor belt. This design allows the rolls to apply pressure to the back and front sides of the conveyor belt without causing damage.
AUDUBON Edge Guiding Systems allow you time to make adjustments to your conveyor to correct for misalignment and tracking problems before any damage can take place to the wire mesh conveyor belt.
AUDUBON Edge Guiding Systems will allert you when something needs adjustment to your conveyor system for proper tracking. This will be apparent when you see the wire mesh conveyor belt riding hard against either side of the vertical rolls.
